Satsuma
Original variety of Japan, widely commercialized in Spain and Morocco. In the South Cone principally 2 varieties are produced: Owari and more recently the Okitsu. Its principal characteristic is to be an early variety; even the Okitsu is furthermore early that the Owari. The size of the fruits changes from medium to big, without seeds and are easily peeled, very juicy and sweety. The external color of the fruit changes, especially at the beginning of the crop when the tonalities of green and yellow are very persistent.
The sequence of the varieties described allows a wide distribution from the middle of February until middle of May.
